The EU-Balkan Working Group

is an interdisciplinary, multinational network of experts on European and regional integration, dedicated to fostering closer ties and enhanced understanding and cooperation between Balkan countries and between them and the European Union.

With the help of our partners, we have developed a distance-learning and residential training programme in European and regional integration, aimed at future leaders, decision-makers and opinion-multipliers in Southeastern Europe, i.e. Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, FYR of Macedonia, Romania and the Union of Serbia and Montenegro.

Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, we are able to provide scholarships for students participating in our programme.

In addition, the in-depth expertise of the members of our network enables us to offer consulting and training on a wide range of policy issues and to assist governments, governmental and non-governmental organisations, local administrations and private-sector companies in formulating and implementing their strategies in the context of regional and European integration.
